Lokatár

From Grýma hin nýja, vol. 3, edited by Þorsteinn M. Jónsson, from the manuscript of Jónas Rafn, told by Þórunn Stefánsdóttir. (see: http://sagnagrunnur.razorch.com/index.php?target=myth&id=7053)

Lokatár heitir vökvi sá, sem er í herðablaðsbelgnum á skepnum. Svo stendur á nafni þessu, að þegar Þökk var beðin að gráta Baldur úr helju (sbr. Gylfaginning, 49. kap,), fól hún þar táravökva sinn.

Lokatár is the name of the liquid which is in the pocket of the shoulder blade on animals. The reason for this name is that when Þökk was asked to cry Baldur out of hel, she hid her tears there.
